Costa Rica

This place was AMAZING! We saw the waterfalls and walked up and down lord knows how many steps. Our hostess said there was a bad earthquake in this area about 2 years ago. The road to and from here was really bad! It was worth it to see the butterflies. The large cats were not out.

For You Card

This card was made with the Cricut Elegant Edges for the base, Spellbinders Floral ovals cut with a plain oval, Spellbinders Moroccan Accents, and PTI Mat Stack 2. The colors on the oval were done with Tim Holtz's Tumbled Glass Distress Stain and Tattered Angles Glimmer mist Jingle Bells. It really looks cute layered, so I put 2 pictures up, one with a flash and one without so the shadows could be seen better.
This will go in the FCCB contest for Monday. Check out their neat blog!

Birthday Card for a Special Friend

I got the idea for this card from Amazing Paper Grace:
http://www.amazingpapergrace.com/your-friendship/
I used embossing folders, a border punch, stampin up for the "birthday wishes" and some flower ribbon found at Hancock Fabrics for the flowers.

This is a layout of my son, Brian, and his wife, Jennifer, and Nikki and Darren. I used a sticky canvas for the tree, some of the flowers are Prima, some are home made. I like the texture of the tree very much.

Christmas lay out

In this layout I scanned the background paper from this SEI paper pad, then put pictures on the background paper using Photo Shop Elements. I had 2 5X7 photos developed for this. They really matched the paper as they are from the same paper pad.
